Pop-In Session - Wednesday 29th October 2025

We had an amazing Public Pop-In session this morning which involved opening up the front door and gate to Lytham Institute and sweeping some of the leaves from the steps.
Councillors Cath Powell and Mark Bamforth were on hand, together with the Clerk to speak with and listen to residents' issues and concerns.
Items raised and discussed today included:
- The provision of youth activity opportunities in Lytham
- The lack of a conveniently close to Lytham minor injuries / walk-in health care centre.
- The impact of the Lytham Festival on residents and also on non-hospitality businesses in Lytham, including on employees who are unable to conveniently get to work.
All of these items will be shared with Councillors.
We were also visited by a couple asking about the NoW Bus Pass, and whilst the Town Council does not administrate this scheme, were were able to signpost them to advice from our colleagues at Fylde Council - and a link to this is included here
